Powers Description		Powers Scott can conjure translucent objects out of hard light, these remain mainly transparent with a somewhat purple hue to them. He has so far used them mainly to create solid objects but has begun to create some basic items with moving parts. Scott has been able to use these powers in combat when creating weapons, armour, and shields for himself. Following a recent, unexpected, and unknown surge of power Scott has begun to conjure objects with moving parts. For now, they remain very basic in their construction. He can manipulate the moving parts closer to what he can only describe as a borderline telekinetic ability to do so. Limitations Continual use of his powers puts a mental strain on Scott resulting in fatigue. Further, if a continual force is applied to one of his constructs it forces him to use his concentration to keep it in place. With his moving parts constructs, Scott is required to be actively concentrating on them for any moving parts to function, adding to his mental strain.

Physical Description		Scott maintains a well trained, but lean, physique. His hair is often styled into a perfect right facing quiff. He maintains a clean shaven face to add to his younger than his years appearance. While in work he maintains a comfortable, yet professional appearance with a polo shirt and trousers. Outside of work he can often be seen in shorts or fitted sweats and some kind of oversized hoodie.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		Overall, Scott likes to think himself as a kind person. He can come off as shy and reserved at first but really that is him just assessing the situation and feel for the room or people before lowering his walls. When that happens, he is a surprisingly confident, bubbly, charming man with a tendency to flirt and make jokes. Most of the time he tends to have very little filter between what he thinks and what comes out of his mouth.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths Scott is physically fit and relatively strong. He tends to be relatively easy to get a long with and difficult to offend. With this he tends to be a very caring friend and someone people tend to turn to and confide in. Scott is incredibly level headed in a crisis. Weaknesses Scott still lacks confidence in his powers at times, he tends to get frustrated with his own perceived lack of progress in what he knows he is capable of. That lack of filter has ran him into trouble more often than not. There are times he has known to be a bit forgetful and can often be seen wandering looking for something he has misplaced, usually his car keys.
Ambitions		Scott wants to finally step up and help the mutant cause, for too long he has felt at the sidelines. Also he wants to continue to push the use of his powers and see where it takes him. He also wants to just have a regular life, find a partner, settle down and help not only the mutant cause, but the LGBT cause and prove that everyone is deserving of the rights of a boring and regular life as everyone else.
Hobbies & Interests		Scott is an avid singer and guitar player. He loves playing tabletop games with friends and considers himself a talented mixologist.

Personal History		Scott grew up in the outskirts of Glasgow. His early years were particularly unremarkable. He was doing above average at school, he maintained a good group of friends during his primary school years. Getting to high school though, things started to change for him. He began to notice he was different than a lot of the other boys, his interests didn't align with football and girlfriends. Scott was happy in his own lane, this isolated him a little thus him picking up the guitar. This isolation though lead to bullying, words getting thrown at him on which he didn't know the meaning and was scared to ask. Emergence Around the age of 12 is when Scott's powers first surfaced. The bullying escalated at school and no one really seemed to care to help. One winter's day after school, he was cornered on the way out of the grounds by a group of boys, some he used to consider friends and the verbal threats finally turned to physical actions. One punch after another, he winced, the emotional pain outweighed the physical and Scott threw up his hands. This time though, instead of hitting his face his assailant's fist was met with a near invisible wall. This shock and hesitation provided enough time for Scott to escape. Practice in Hiding The next few years lead Scott to realise what was happening to him, in more ways than one. He realised why he was feeling different, his attractions led to the same sex. Scott felt all he could do was hide himself away more, in his academic studies, in his guitar and in finding out what his powers were. Every night when he was sure his parents were asleep Scott would wake up and try to recreate that shield. He started adding barriers to his fists should he ever need to strike back. Once one thing was up and running he would move on to small every day things to help around the house. His favourite thing he could make was a small pinching arm he could manipulate to open and close things from a distance. The Next Stage His high school days were coming to an end and Scott had successfully applied to study Primary Education at the University of Strathclyde in their Jordanhill Campus. It would be a bit of a trek getting there each day either by train or by the small car that he had so he successfully applied for student accommodation and was ready to move out. The course he was taking was particularly intense so it meant that work opportunities were limited. He did spot a vacancy for the University gym at the campus, working the reception. He was happy to take this up at night as it meant he also got a further discounted membership and began working out. That initial beating he took forever stuck in his mind and he never wanted to feel that vulnerable, that helpless ever again. Keeping his head down in his role, Scott finally began to grow in confidence and come into his own. He found a few societies at the university to join. He began to date on and off, however nothing stuck either through fear of being caught with his powers or the relationship itself. This was the life he always dreamed of, allowing himself to be a little more free, a little more expressive. It did lead him however to become a little bit cocky with his powers. When he was sure no one was looking he would often use his powers to create a set of steps to get books from a higher shelf, to put things away. There were times he would even use his powers to add extra weight to his workouts realising he could manipulate the density of his constructs, it would never be anything significant but it saved him going to find a smaller plate to add. Discovery It would be too good to last though and in his final days at university Scott would be discovered more ways than one. While out on a date around the Jordanhill area one evening, Scott and his partner were getting ready to cross the road when a car came skidding towards them and onto the pavement. Without thinking he threw up a barrier to protect them both at the people around them. There was no hiding it was him. There was also no hiding that the man with him was more than a friend the way he clung to his arm. All Scott's more recent fears had came true. That even he went home and had to have many difficult conversations with his parents. They did not go well. Packing up the last of his things he had at home and his student accommodation, Scott left. Starting Again Taking a job at the other end of the country Scott settled into a nice little life of teaching at a small school, working out, running and practicing the use of his powers in private in the small garage that was attached to the house he was renting. Often he would travel back into the larger city of Glasgow for nights out, to meet with the growing friend network he had both gay and mutant alike. He had a renewed sense of confidence when dealing with people who were ever brave enough to harass them. Scott always felt like something was missing though, he felt like he had to do something to make a wider change, thats when he was told about the Avalon, looking for a teacher to take care of any younger student that came through the doors as some mutants had begun to present their powers at a younger age.
