Writing a Post on Avalon

To give the most creative freedom and liberties to personal writing style I'll try to keep this brief.

Information

Authors - Always select all characters (including NPCs) that are present in the post, even if it's just for one sentence. By selecting all of the characters we'll be able to track characters' whereabouts and actions throughout any given day.
Mission - We might offer multiple storylines at any given time, please make sure to select the correct one. The mission notes will give you some guidance as to where your post might belong.
Title - The title should be a teaser of what is to come. It should cover the subject matter without spoiling anything.
Location - For the location please be as specific as you can. When outside of Avalon Institute be specific, the UK is pretty big.
Timeline - While it is strongly encouraged to stick to a progressive timeline you are allowed to 'backpost'. It is not allowed to roll over dates unless otherwise specified in the Mission notes.
Please list the timeline in the following order: Month, Date, Time (you may add the year in case it's set in another year that the current one):
September 23rd - 0830 hours

Narrative

Any post should be offered in a third-person novella format. In the third-person narrative mode, each and every character is referred to by the narrator as "he", "she", "it", "they", or another preferred pronoun but never as "I" or "we" (first-person), or "you" (second-person). This makes it clear that the narrator is an unspecified entity or uninvolved person who conveys the story and is not a character of any kind within the story, or at least is not referred to as such.

Dialogue

Dialogue should be identified by the use of quotation marks. There's no explicit need for dialogue tags (he said, she said, etc) as long as it's clear who's talking. Additionally, it's also not necessary to explicitly identify the person talking if the rest of the context of the post makes it clear who's speaking. Finally dialogue can appear at any part of the paragraph, so long as it remains clear who's speaking.

Interactions with other Characters

All characters in the game are associated with a specific player in the game. Please only write narrative or dialogue for the characters associated with you personally as a player. If you want to use other characters in your post, invite the other players to join you in writing with you!
